P3 Markets & The Habitat Company Are Excited to Disclose Plans for the next phase of the 43 Green project in Bronzeville.
As groundbreaking and site prep of phase 1 of 43 Green begins, P3 Markets and The Habitat Company are proud to announce the details of the second phase of the project. The $100 million joint venture located at 301 E 43rd Street in Bronzeville is designed to attract young professionals eager to use the nearby train station and planned commercial space.
There will be 78 residential units in the 10-story building, divided into 23 studios ranging from 427 to 504 square feet, 47 one-bedrooms ranging from 604 to 625 square feet, and eight two-bedroom 1,002 square feet apartments. Nearly half of the total units will be designated for affordable housing.
In addition to 3,517 square feet of leasable space commercial spaces, the ground floor of the project will also contain a residential lobby, bike storage, and parking spaces. Additional features for residents include a shared laundry room on the second floor, storage, and a fitness and community room.
When designing the facade of the building, the nearby phase 1 and surrounding buildings were taken into consideration. Designed by Landon Bone Baker, the brick and metal panel building will also feature wide sidewalks and balconies.
No timeline on groundbreaking has been set. Stay tuned for more details!
